RE:                   Proposed Constitution Changes – 2018 Annual General Meeting

The Board of Directors has continued the process this year of reviewing and updating as necessary the Constitution of the OAAS.  You will recall that changes and amendments were made at both the 2016 and 2017 Annual General Meetings.  The changes reflects further work done by the Governance Committee during the past year pertaining to our Constitution and By-Laws.

These amendments and the resolution will be put forward for consideration by the membership at the Annual General Meeting taking place at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto on Saturday morning, February 17, 2018.

The following link you will find two (2) documents:

  1. The DRAFT updated OAAS Constitution and By-Laws showing the changes, additions and deletions being proposed, for member consideration; and
  2. A chart with further explanation and clarification about the changes being proposed.

Should you have questions or concerns about the proposed amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws or would like a hard copy mailed to you, I encourage you to contact Vince Brennan, Office Manager at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
